Far away and out-of-reach?
Even fairly remote mountains appear close sometimes - this is called "a window of opportunity". In analogy to taking such a photograph, four requirements are to be met in order to be successful:
- the weather (the business environment) needs to be good enough
- a zoom camera (appropriate business tools) need to be available
- open eyes and attention to changing conditions
- and of course, time and devotion
The business tools could consist in many things: the right products or development resources, marketing, customer contacts, supply chain, and last, but not least, excellent people able to recognize such opportunities.
